Is NationalWay Right for You?

NationalWay can provide alternatives for funding a new project or upgrading an existing one. Loans, grants, and equity investments are the three primary sources of finance accessible through NationalWay. These financing alternatives are intended to fulfill the requirements of non-profit groups, enterprises, and government agencies around the country. However, it is crucial to note that not all projects are eligible for financing, and some projects may not qualify.

Whether your study aims to make healthcare more accessible or to improve safety, the Health Services Research Program (HSRP) will assist you in obtaining the financing you require. The program provides funding for a wide range of research initiatives, from feasibility studies and pilot projects to secondary data analysis and the creation of novel research methodologies. The program's funding is open to hospitals, other healthcare facilities, commercial companies, and non-profits.

To be eligible for the HSRP program, your idea must have significant potential for improving access to healthcare. Funding will also be available for healthcare research initiatives in underprivileged or rural regions. Research studies that integrate new technology or a new approach for data analysis are also eligible for funding.

Applicants must be qualified entities (for example, a state, local government, special purpose district, or tribal government). An eligible organization may submit several eligible projects in any program as long as each suitable project is eligible for the program to which it is submitted.

Highway freight projects, freight rail projects, intermodal freight projects, and projects located in international border crossing locations are all eligible under the INFRA program. The federal government contributes 80 percent to projects sponsored under the INFRA program. INFRA money can also enhance animal crossings and maritime highway corridors.

The combined application procedure for the Multimodal Project Discretionary Grant (MPDG) is based on Appendix I to Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 200. This document summarizes the Department's objectives, selection criteria, and performance reporting requirements.

Applicants can apply for project funding through the TIFIA program, the Mega (National Infrastructure Project Assistance) grants program, and the INFRA program. To be eligible for financing under these programs, a project must show its significance and address recognized gaps or program set-asides. Furthermore, the project must meet regional diversity standards. Applicants should also include non-Federal financial promises attached to their submissions.

The Senior Review Team (SRT) is in charge of reviewing applications. If the SRT determines that a project does not fulfil the qualifying conditions or is not a "Highly Recommended" or "Not Recommended" project, it may reject the application.

The SRT also assesses initiatives to see if they will have a national or regional impact. Applicants must demonstrate that their proposal will generate employment and improve tourism accessibility. Furthermore, the initiative must show that it will boost affordability in underserved populations. The project must also examine equitable issues, such as the usage of DBEs.
